Privacy policy

In short

Rock runs its AI models on your iPhone. Your chats, prompts, images and project files are processed and stored on the device. There is no Rock server that receives them. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

What connects to the internet

Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its download servers), when you download a model. Like any website, Hugging Face sees your IP address and which model you download. Hugging Face's privacy policy applies.

GitHub (github.com and api.github.com), only if you connect your account. You sign in on GitHub's own page. Rock keeps the access token in the iPhone Keychain, downloads the repositories you open and uploads changes only when you ship them. GitHub's privacy statement applies.

Nothing else is sent anywhere.

On your iPhone

Conversations, projects, downloaded models and generated images are stored inside Rock. Projects are visible in the Files app. Models are excluded from iCloud backup because of their size. A small diagnostics log (for example how much memory was free) stays on the device unless you choose to share it with us from About.

Permissions

Photos: only to add images you choose to save. Rock never reads your photo library.

Notifications: local alerts when a task or download finishes. No push notifications are sent from a server.

This website

talktorock.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. The web server itself keeps no visitor logs; the hosting may keep short-lived technical request logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.

Your control

Delete a chat, project or model in the app at any time. Deleting Rock removes everything it stored. To disconnect GitHub, sign out in Rock and revoke access at github.com/settings/applications.

Children

Rock is not directed at children. Models you download can produce any kind of text.
